Jack Draper has confirmed the first tournament that he will compete in with Andy Murray as his coach.

Following a career that saw him become a three-time Grand Slam champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Murray called time on his tennis career after competing following the Paris Olympic Games in August 2024.

Since then, Murray has enjoyed some time away from the spotlight before eventually returning to the court as a part of former rival Novak Djokovic's coaching team.

The pair worked together for six months, with the Scotsman helping Djokovic reach the Australian Open semi-finals, before confirming that they had decided to split by mutual agreement.

Murray was then linked with taking a coaching role with Emma Radacanu, but instead accepted a role with fellow British star Draper last month.

Draper has struggled with injury in recent months, having played just one tournament after Wimbledon last year due to an arm injury, which put an end to a career-best run on the ATP Tour.

Having won Indian Wells and reaching the final of the Madrid Open in early 2025, Draper had fought his way up to a career-high ranking of World No. 4 before the injury.

Draper's arm injury kept him off the court for six months, leading to him returning to play just eight matches before suffering a knee injury in the opening round of the Barcelona Open in April.

During this spell off the court, Draper made the surprise decision to part ways with coach Jamie Delgado, bringing in British tennis royalty in Murray, who will work with the 24-year-old for the grass season.

"I am very grateful for everything Jamie Delgado has done for me over these past six months. He is a world-class coach and a great man," Draper said in a statement.

"In the interim, I will continue to be supported by the excellent team at the LTA, with the addition of Andy Murray, who will be supporting me throughout the grass-court season."

Jack Draper's first tournament with Andy Murray confirmed

Following the announcement, tennis fans were eager to learn when we would first see Draper and Murray working together, and we now know it will be at the 2026 BOSS Open in Stuttgart.

Draper has officially confirmed his participation in the event, which begins on June 8th, where he will join the likes of Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and, most notably, Nick Kyrgios.

The Brit won his first-ever ATP-level event in Stuttgart back in 2024 and it remains the only grass court title he has achieved in his career.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he chose the event as the perfect return ahead of an exciting couple of months that will see both Draper and Murray make a triumphant return to Wimbledon this summer.
