World Snooker Championship winner Wu Yize has revealed the top tips he received from Ronnie O'Sullivan before winning a historic championship at the Crucible.
O'Sullivan has won a record seven World Snooker Championships but was knocked out in an extraordinary round of 16 match against fellow Class of 92 legend John Higgins in Sheffield last month.
'The Rocket', who shares his championship record with fellow great Stephen Hendry, has been a vocal advocate for the growth of snooker in China and a big supporter of the nation's emerging talent, including back-to-back world champions Zhao Xintong and Wu, his 22-year-old successor.
Wu produced the goods in the first final-frame decider in a Worlds final since 2002, defeating Murphy 18-17 at the end of an epic final and a thrilling tournament.

Speaking to Hendry for official World Snooker Tour channels, Wu revealed some details of O'Sullivan's influence.
"[O'Sullivan] taught me so many things I didn't know before," said the new world champion, with the trophy's Silver Lady still within earshot.
"How to handle different situations in the arena, for example. Things like experience, how to perform at my best and many other things.
"He also shared some useful training tips for my daily routines. All of this knowledge is truly invaluable."
Wu, who moved to Sheffield as a teenager with his father and is now reaping the rewards, certainly had to perform at his best to pick his way through the field at the Crucible.
After emphatically beating fellow Chinese youngster Lei Peifan in the first round, Wu played some sensational snooker to defeat four-time champion Mark Selby and qualifier Hossein Vafaei, another of the stars of the tournament.
Wu showed nerves of steel in the latter stages
A 17-16 win over Mark Allen produced three of the headlines of the 17 days at the Crucible. The pair produced a bizarre 100-minute frame that saw all the reds left on the table locked together along with the black over its right pocket, and Allen played the defensive shot of the tournament to leave Wu snookered behind the black with only two balls left in the same infamous Frame 14.
'The Pistol' missed a pot on the black the next day that cost him a place in the final against Murphy.
The 50th consecutive World Snooker Championship final played at the Crucible went back and forth between Wu and Murphy.
They were locked at 17-17 late on Monday evening and Wu conjured up an outstanding red with the rest to seize his chance against 'The Magician', who has now lost four Crucible finals.
