Basketball coach Geno Auriemma has masterminded an unbelievable run for the University of Connecticut Women's College Basketball team.

The team have won 108 games straight and you have to go as far back as 895 days ago for their last loss. They have been NCAA Division One Champions for the past three campaigns and look good value to emerge victorious when the current season finishes on April 2.

It's an incredible achievement to be able to maintain such a high level of consistency but watching a post-match interview from Auriemma, you can see why his team are so relentless, hungry and ultimately a well-oiled machine.

A clip of the 62-year old talking about sport in general has been doing the rounds and it's encapsulated many.

The issue he is talking about is the fact that not just in NBA, in sport as a whole, too much people think they have arrived before they have even scratched the surface.

Auriemma talks about the fact the youngsters of today are watching athletes of today's world and the main thing they are noticing is the coolness of the players.

The example he gives is that youngsters see people being cool and before you know it, they are acting as though they are "really good players" before they've even mastered the basics.

Auriemma goes on to stress how important it is to place emphasis on the kids that love the game and have what he calls "a tremendous appreciation" for when their teammate makes a positive contribution.

Body language is something he says he pays close attention to and he doesn't care how gifted or talented someone is.

His drive is something else and the points he raises really hit home.
