Piers Morgan and Kevin Pietersen have reacted after a video of a bystander disarming an alleged gunman at the Bondi Beach shooting circulated on social media.
On Sunday morning, the world was rocked to its core after news emerged that 12 people were confirmed dead and several others were injured after a shooting at Sydney's famous Bondi Beach.
It has been confirmed by local police that one of the 12 killed was an alleged gunman, with a second shooter in police custody in a critical condition.
According to the BBC, the incident has now been confirmed as a terrorist attack.

Since the incident took place, a number of videos taken by members of the public have circulated on social media.
In one video, a man was seen bravely confronting an alleged shooter, tackling the person onto the ground.
Footage showed the man hiding behind a car before sneaking up to the alleged offender from behind.
After tackling the alleged shooter to the ground, the man took the weapon away and pointed it in the apparent offender's direction.
Taking to social media, Morgan hailed the man's bravery as he wrote on X: "This is one of the most heroic things I’ve ever seen. Risking his own life to save others. What an astounding act of courage. Who is this guy?"
Morgan went on to claim the name of the 'Bondi Hero' is Ahmed El Ahmad, a 43yr-old father-of-two fruit shop owner.
Cricket legend Pietersen wrote: "Bondi - my goodness! I cannot believe what I’m seeing. Shocking! The video of the hero disarming the monster is quite unreal! To EVERYONE who’s been affected by this disgraceful act, thoughts with all! Australia is the most amazing country, and this DOES NOT need to happen!"
Meanwhile, Australian boxer George Kambosos Jr added: "Legendary, this HERO saved so many kids lives as the kids playground is just there. That’s my Australian of the year right there!!! Sad sad day."
Ex-Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand sent his thoughts to Australia. He said: "Shocking scenes in Bondi.. sending my thoughts + prayers to everyone in Australia!"
Following the incident, a statement from NSW Police reads: "Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended assisted by multiple resources across the city. A number of suspicious items located in the vicinity are being examined by specialist officers, and an exclusion zone is in place. A multi-agency response is continuing.
"An extensive crime scene has been established and inquiries are now underway. There have been no reports of any other incidents in Sydney connected to this incident."
