Following Saturday night's UFC 198 Pay-Per-View, we may be a lot closer to seeing the much talked about Cris Cyborg vs Ronda Rousey fight taking place inside the octagon.

Cyborg made her UFC debut last night against Leslie Smith and dealt with her unfortunate opponent in just 81 seconds, winning via TKO.

Cyborg, real name Cristiane Justino, is a former Strikeforce Women's Featherweight Champion and is the current Invicta FC World Featherweight Champion. Since losing her first professional MMA bout against Erica Paes in 2005, she has won 16 straight fights, although a failed drugs test in 2012, for which she was suspended for a year and fined $2,500 for testing positive for banned anabolic steroid stanozolol, has somewhat sullied her reputation.

During Ronda Rousey's reign as UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, a match between the two was rumoured to be happening until Rousey suffered a knockout defeat to Holly Holm, who subsequently dropped the belt to Miesha Tate in her first defence. Following her victory in Brazil on Saturday, Cyborg was quick to send a message to Tate and Rousey on social media:

How will Rousey respond? The former champ has been very quiet since taking her first loss at the hands (or should that be feet?) of Holm.
