Chris Jericho hilariously took a swipe at the 'List of Jericho' and revealed its spiritual successor the 'Lexicon of Le Champion' in a must-watch AEW promo.

The 49-year-old AEW world champion brought to life the so-called 'List of Jericho' during his time with WWE in a storyline involving Kevin Owens.

But Jericho stole the show during All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite on Wednesday when he took to the ring and was met with cheers when he pulled out his new list.

However, 'Le Champion' was quick to silence the crowd when they thought he had brought back the fan-favourite 'List of Jericho.'

He told the crowd at State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois: "Seriously. Get out of 2016. This is not the List [of Jericho] any longer. It is the 'Lexicon of Le Champion.'"

Jericho continued to cut his superb promo as he fired off opponents on the list that he would refuse to wrestle "ever again" in 2019.

The WWE legend named the likes of Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega while hilariously splicing it with the likes of South Park's Kenny McCormick and Allen Jones (AJ Styles).

The three members of the Jurassic Express interrupted Jericho before he could finish off the 'Lexicon of Le Champion.'

And the segment eventually descended into a brawl as the AEW champ and Inner Circle member Jake Hager were forced to retreat.

Jungle Boy, who is a member of Jurassic Express, is scheduled to face Jericho for the AEW World Championship on AEW: Dynamite on 18th December.

Jericho has revealed his AEW feud with Moxley, who performed as Dean Ambrose in WWE, will "be very intense and it's going to be a lot of fun."

He told Sports Illustrated earlier this week: "It won't be the same. Moxley was never this confident or this good in WWE.

"As Moxley said in our 'Talk Is Jericho' podcast interview, he didn't know who he was in WWE.

"He was constantly at odds with the creative and at odds with himself. This is a completely new guy. Dean Ambrose was only a portion of his career.

"To me, Moxley is the real guy. And there is a new-look Chris Jericho with all this creative freedom in AEW, so it's going to be very intense and it's going to be a lot of fun.

"I know a lot of people have already said, 'This is happening too quickly.'

"Everybody needs to sit back, relax and watch the story unfold. Trust me, we are not rushing anything. I wouldn't allow it."

Jericho also revealed last week that his viral catchphrase of 'a little bit of the bubbly' has been turned into a wine and 10,000 bottles have already been sold.
