A baseball fan has been slammed for her 'disgusting' behaviour towards a child that was caught on camera.
The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Miami Marlins in Friday's MLB clash at the LoanDepot Park.
Phillies' Harrison Bader hit a monster solo home run and the ball landed in the stands, sparking a furious exchange between a woman and a man, who collected the ball before giving it to a child.
In scenes reminiscent of CEO Kamil Majchrzak at the US Open, a woman - wearing Phillies apparel - approached and appeared to shout at the man, who subsequently took the ball from the boy and handed it to her following a dispute.

It's unclear who initially secured the ball when it landed in the stands.
After the home run ball incident, an official from the Marlins gifted the boy with a prize pack before the Phillies intervened.
They later invited the young fan to meet Bader following their 9-3 win over the Marlins.

He eventually went home with a signed bat from Bader, who met him outside the Phillies' clubhouse after the game.
The MLB side shared a picture of Bader signing a bat for the boy, accompanied with the caption: "Going home with a signed bat from Bader."
Naturally, fans online slammed the woman, who interfered and got the home run ball.
One X user wrote: "Karen Hall of Famer right there."

A second claimed: "That’s his ball. It was on the ground. It belongs to the kid."
A third slammed: "What a disgusting person. She should be banned from all games."
Another commented: "Imagine being this concerned over a ball."

So, what started as a nightmare ended in a moment the boy will never forget.
Good on the Marlins and the Phillies not to mention Bader for stepping up.
