Elon Musk wasted no time in responding after Joe Rogan called him a 'psychopath' on his podcast.
Rogan and Musk publicly declared their support for Donald Trump during the US presidential election, with both backing the Republican leader.
And Rogan has now defended Musk, calling him a 'super genius' amid the tech billionaire's work slashing federal spending through his Department of Government Efficiency, claiming the cutbacks are 'good for everybody'.

Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator took aim at Democrats who slammed Musk over his access to America's sensitive information as he scraps and dramatically transforms the entire government agencies.
"He has $400 billion, he’s not going to steal your money. I’m telling you he’s not going to steal your money. I’m telling you, that’s not what he’s doing," he said.
"He’s a super genius that’s been f**ked with. And when you’ve been f**ked with by these nitwits that hide behind 3-letter agencies and you’re dealing with one of the smartest people alive and he helps Donald Trump get into office and he goes, ‘I want to find out what kind of corruption is really around'.
"You f**ked up and picked the wrong psychopath on the spectrum," Rogan added while laughing.
"He’s gonna hunt you down, he’s going to find out what’s going on and that’s good. That’s good for everybody. That’s how you should be looking at this, like 'Wow, we have a brilliant mind that is examining these really f**king corrupt and goofy systems and bringing in a bunch of psychopath wizards'."
Musk shared the clip of Rogan on X, which he owns, accompanied with a bullseye emoji.
Since Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, Musk has been an ever-growing presence in U.S politics, having joined rallies and spoke out on social media. He now heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
