The PDC world darts championship is upon is again and providing unmissable action from Alexandra Palace over the festive period.

The 2024 edition sees a total of £2.5 million in prize money up for grabs, with the winner taking home a massive £500,000 and the runner-up getting £200,000 richer.

Although the roots are in the pub, TV revenue and commercial deals mean there is plenty of money and darts.

As a by-product from success on the oche, several players have done well financially from the sport.
