AngryGinge has used social media to demonstrate the devastating damage caused to his mother's house by a fire soon before his appearance at Sunday's Soccer Aid.
The winner of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! featured for England in the charity event but soon went dark on social media, citing a major family matter.
Sadly, the seriousness of that became clear when the Soccer Aid player, YouTuber, Twitch streamer, Baller League manager, celebrity, reality TV personality and youth football club owner took followers into the home of Michelle Burtwistle.
"Everyone is assuming or guessing someone has passed away," AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, said on Instagram on Tuesday.

"They've not. So as you can tell, you wouldn’t think it, but right now I am in my mum’s house.
"Morning of Soccer Aid I get a phone call saying mum’s house has burned down.
"This is what we are dealing with now, obviously there will be more updates, but at the minute, I mean yeah."

The awful scenes demonstrated what the family will have to face up to in the coming days.
"This isn’t even the worst of the worst," said the 24-year-old.
"We are dealing with this at the minute. I will keep you all updated and I will be live whenever I can go live.
"Spoke to the right people! Now we wait and see what happens. Appreciate all the love and [messages]."
The England team won 3-2 against a Soccer Aid World XI at London Stadium on Sunday.
Burtwhistle was named Player of the Match for the second year in a row and was subsequently asked about turning professional.
'There's lots of single parents out there that have to go through what we went through'
AngryGinge is estranged from his father and was brought up in Salford by Michelle.
The streamer is close to his mum and remains extremely critical of a dad he has repeatedly accused of being 'a racist'.
"He tried to get money out of the situation which… you expect nothing less from him really so that wasn't a surprise," he told LADbible after winning the jungle-based reality television show.
"Then the whole plan backfired so again, another 1-0 to me, we take that every day of the week.
"There's lots of single parents out there that have to go through what we went through and whether it's me just reminiscing and going back to the times where our electric could go out at half six and I'd have to nip to the shop and whack a fiver on the electric just to get it up so it'd be up for morning and stuff like that.
"t's nice to look back on and look at the grind of where it all started and it just shows and I kind of take it as a bit of responsibility and the people that obviously are going through similar things from what I went through, there is a way out you just have to put your mind to it and at the end of the day anything is genuinely achievable."
