Davante Adams looks like he might have played his last game for the Las Vegas Raiders.
The All-Pro Wide Receiver requested a trade from the NFL team last week, before sitting out the loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday with a hamstring injury. Adams is reportedly nearing full fitness, but he could be starring for a different team by the time he returns to the field.
Adams is said to be interested in a move to the New York Jets to reunite with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The two played together for the Green Bay Packers for eight seasons between 2014 and 2021 before Adams moved to Las Vegas.
The Jets are now favourites to land the superstar wide receiver and that would give them a big boost in their Super Bowl odds if they are able to get the deal done.

However, they are expected to face competition from the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens for the star pass catcher according to the latest betting odds.
Multiple reports have suggested a trade is imminent and that the Raiders are keen for any deal to be done within the next 48 hours. They are believed to want a second-round pick in exchange.
Rodgers and the Jets suffered a disappointing 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, which leaves their record at 2-3 for the season. A trade for Adams could provide a spark for their struggling offence.

However, the Saints could provide another appealing option especially given the chance to reunite with his old quarterback Derek Carr. Adams and Carr played together in college at Fresno State, and then again for the Raiders before Carr left Las Vegas for New Orleans in 2023.

The Baltimore Ravens would give Adams the best odds of winning the Super Bowl, and they are lacking a star wide receiver.

Adams could in theory remain with the Raiders, but that looks increasingly doubtful. The 31-year-old could be playing for a new team when he plays his next snap.
