Shaquille O'Neal says it's a 'disgrace' what the WNBA stars are earning and proposed a bold suggestion to solve the pay dispute.
The pay gap between the NBA and the WNBA has intensified as some of the league's biggest stars spoke out after talks over a new collective bargaining agreement stalled during All-Star week.
Caitlin Clark was part of a protest against the league during the All-Star showdown, while Angel Reese claimed she can't cover her everyday bills on her salary.
NBA legend Steph Curry has made his feelings clear on the row that has dominated conversations in the WNBA.

Fellow NBA icon 'Shaq' has also weighed in on the WNBA pay dispute by calling out the salaries the players are earning in the league.
He called it a 'disgrace' before proposing a major change to the WNBA game.
The four-time NBA champion suggested that the league lower the rims to generate more excitement on the court, which would, in turn, help increase revenue.
"So now, we got to lower the rim," O'Neal said.

"If you want to make more money, let Caitlin go baseline and fingertip dunk. And Angel, the way she does her layup like that, let her turn that wrist over one time and throw it down."

The ex-Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat star added: "Trust me on this. I’m telling you. I’ve always said something to Candace on how the game would grow. I was doing the Shaq verse one time, and I was training with the women’s volleyball team. I’m spiking, I’m looking like an Olympic volleyball player.
"But then when I get to the guys, I’m barely spiking. So I said, hey. She said, yeah, the net’s just lowered a little bit. And in women’s golf, guys are back here, the women are right there, right? What’s the only thing that’s missing from the women’s game and the guys’ game?

"I’m not saying lower it to a clown rate. Again, don’t go from 10 feet to 8 feet, but just… yeah. That’s the only difference from our game."
