Michael Jordan's old mansion has shown up on popular holiday rental site Airbnb - but it will set you and your friends back quite a bit between you if you want to stay there for a week.

MJ rose to global stardom thanks to his illustrious career in the NBA which has put him firmly in the conversation to be basketball's GOAT.

The now-retired Jordan, who last played in 2003 after ending his career with the Washington Wizards, is a six-time NBA champion following his time with the Chicago Bulls and was crowned the MVP in the NBA Finals a total of six times.

Jordan was also named the NBA's Most Valuable Player overall on five occasions.

He transcended the sport of basketball to have a truly global reach off the court and expanded his appeal far beyond the NBA.

His partnership with Nike on the Air Jordan trainers and his exploits on the big screen by appearing in the 1996 film Space Jam helped to catapult him to a mainstream audience.

Jordan also became the focus of the Emmy-award winning documentary series The Last Dance, which was released in 2020.

As of this year, Jordan's net worth has been estimated at $3.5 billion and ensures he is one of the richest celebrities and retired sportspeople on the planet.

Through amassing that fortune, Jordan has been able to own an impressive array of cars over the years, as well as co-owning a NASCAR Cup Series team and being a majority investor in a Florida golf course.

And Jordan has also been able to invest in property, with a former mansion of his having since appeared on Airbnb for people to stay in for short periods of time.

But if you and your mates were thinking of staying in the impressive accommodation, it will set you back a fair bit.

To be exact, a stay of seven weeks minimum is required - and it will set you back a cool $120,000.

For that, you will have access to a total of seven bedrooms and 17-and-a-half bathrooms.

Unsurprisingly, MJ's old crib boasts a full-sized basketball court, as well as a private golf putting green and a fishing pond.

There is also an infinity-edge swimming pool, a commercial grade gym and a home cinema.

It all looks very impressive - but it might take a while for some people to save up between them and commit to staying in such a place.
