NBA legend LeBron James has generated an astonishing net worth through his illustrious basketball career - but how does it compare to that of American rapper Jay-Z?
The two stars were spotted together courtside on Thursday evening ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Lakers ultimately crashed out of the NBA Cup, losing 132-119 to the San Antonio Spurs in the quarter-finals.
Before tip-off, James and Jay-Z shared a warm embrace on the touchline.

James approached the rapper for a hug, lifting his top to cover his mouth as they had a brief chat.
Although neither has revealed what they discussed, the pair are known to have a long-standing friendship.
Back in 2011, after the Miami Heat lost in the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks, James received widespread criticism for comments he made about his own critics.

Two years later, the NBA icon admitted he was not performing at his best during that period, but said he always knew Jay-Z would support him.
Speaking to ESPN, he said: “I think that year, and the way the press was handling me, and all of a sudden, I got a villain hat and all that, it changed me for the wrong.
"And after that season, I was like, Man, that ain’t me. I ain’t about that life.
James continued: "I know if I needed to talk to Jay Z about it, I could, for sure.
"Him coming from the same background, inner city, no way out and making it."
While both men have achieved huge success, Jay-Z has amassed a significantly larger net worth.
Forbes estimates James' net worth at $1.3 billion, while Jay-Z's fortune stands at $2.5 billion.
Both have made history in their fields.
James became the first active NBA player to reach billionaire status, while Jay-Z became the first hip-hip billionaire.
Although the pair do not share a single joint business venture, they have invested in some of the same projects.
One of those is American sportswear brand Mitchell & Ness, which holds licensing agreements with the MLB, NBA, NFL and MLS.
In February 2022, the company was bought by Fanatics, Inc, alongside several high-profile investors that included both James and Jay-Z.
The NBA star and the rapper have also collaborated on projects due to the rapper's involvement within sport.
Jay-Z is the chairman of Roc Nation, whose sporting division Roc Nation Sports, represents a number of high-profile athletes, including Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior and former Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
