Former NBA player Jeff Teague has made an outrageous steroid claim about Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
James has enjoyed a legendary NBA career and is still going strong with the Lakers.
He's won an impressive four NBA championships in a career that has spanned over 20 years, having played for Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.
James is in the GOAT conversation alongside the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

His longevity and dominance in the NBA is unmatched and was discussed on Teague's podcast.
Speaking on the Club 520 Podcast, the ex-Atlanta Hawks point guard claimed James was at the peak of his powers when he was with the Heat before accusing him of doping.
He accused James of faking an injury to avoid a doping test despite the 40-year-old never being banned for any prohibited substances during his stellar NBA career.

"He was on steroids. He had to sit out, he was on steroids for real. Legit, he was on steroids. Allegedly," said Teague. "They started testing for HGH and... he had to sit out. He said his back was hurting and he sat out for like three weeks and came back skinny."
Human growth hormone (HGH) isn't technically a steroid, but it's a substance that can be used illegally to speed up recovery and enhance athletic performance.

Naturally, being the biggest name in the sport, the allegations against James went viral, prompting Teague to backtrack as he claimed his comments were made in jest and had no evidence to back up his doping suggestion.

"Y'all weird I was joking about [LeBron] he was just that dominant chill," he wrote in a post on his Instagram story.
James, who made his NBA debut in the 2003/04 term, spent four seasons with the Heat, winning two NBA championships in back-to-back years between 2011 and 2013.
