
The Indiana Pacers put on a dominant display to secure a Game 6 win nn the 2025 NBA Finals and now have a chance to secure a rare NBA achievement last completed by the great LeBron James.
Coming into the game, the Pacers had a lot to play for, as a loss would make OKC Thunder the champions on the Pacers' home court.
However, the team dominated the young side from tip off itself to secure a 108-91 win. Bennedict Mathurin, who had a big Game 3, performed before the levels he has set himself but the others stepped up to force a Game 7.

Going into the all important matchup on the road, the Pacers will be the underdogs as there has been only four teams to win Game 7 on the road.
LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers was the last team to win on the road when they beat the Golden State Warriors in the Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

The Pacers could join teams the Cavs, Washington Bullets and Boston Celtics to win Game 7 as the road team.
It will be a difficult task with their opponents showcasing brilliance all season long on their homecourt.
Thunder's 10-2 record as the Paycom Center will be difficult to bet against, but the win in Game 6 will give the Pacers all the momentum needed to secure a historic championship for the franchise.

Coming into the NBA Finals, the Pacers were not the favourites to win the series as they were faced with the challenge of playing one of the best teams in recent memory.

The young side won 68 regular season games and was dominant throughout their playoff run as well.
However, the Pacers have matched up well against them and their star player Tyrese Haliburton believes the team have to keep all that has happened in the past games behind and put all their focus on Game 7.

While the Cavaliers came from 3-1 down to beat the Warriors, Pacers are coming from a 3-2 deficit, but play with an injured Haliburton, who has a strained right calf.

However, the point guard started Game 6 and gave his team some valuable minutes to secure the win.
He has been clutch for the team throughout the playoffs and will be hoping for another big night as a win would give mean the city of Indiana would get their first NBA championship.
