LeBron James Says Boston Celtics Fans Are 'Racist As F**k'

"They’re going to say whatever the f**k they want to say."

It turns out LeBron James isn't too fond of the Boston Celtics fan base.

The four-time NBA champion has had a long-running feud with the Celtics supporters ever since he first entered the league in 2003.

But when he was asked exactly why he "hates Boston", LeBron explained his reasons.

“Because they racist as f**k,” he said in the latest episode of The Shop.

“They will say anything. And it’s fine. It’s my life, f**k I’ve been dealing with it my whole life. I don’t mind it. I hear it. If I hear somebody close by, I check them real quick, then move onto the game. They’re going to say whatever the f**k they want to say.

“I mean, I got a beer thrown on me leaving the game.”

He also went on to reveal that the team was selling anti-LeBron merchandise in the official store.

“There was like a f**k LBJ t-shirt,” James added.

“I believe they sold it at the f**king team shop.

“Them Celtics had something to do with that s**t.”

LeBron isn't the only big-name figure in the NBA to speak out against the Celtics fan base.

During Game 3 of the 2022 Finals, Celtics supporters took aim at Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, chanting "f**k you" over and over again in his direction.

It was the Celtics who ended up winning the game 116-100, but Golden State were quick to address the crowd's actions after the game with head coach Steve Kerr and star Klay Thompson wading in.

Kerr told reporters: "Classy, very classy."

While Thompson added: "We've played in front of rude people before. Dropping F-bombs with children in the crowd. Real classy. Good job, Boston."

Green's wife Hazel also hit out at the fans donning green and white.

"Tough loss BUT in NO WAY, shape or form should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players!" Hazel wrote in a statement posted to her Instagram.

"Are they not human? Is someone standing at your job saying off the wall things to you?

"The NBA has the audacity to have a whole code of conduct card at every seat about fans and their behaviour and how they could be ejected from a game or banned but a whole crowd / section / numerous people get to chant F**K YOU DRAYMOND or call him a b***h or MF?! And nothing?! Like that's OK?!

"Warriors fans would NEVER!! My kids were at the game tonight hearing that mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans. Just shameful!"
