Zion Clark continues to prove why he's one of the most remarkable humans on planet earth.

This weekend, the 25-year-old is set to make his professional mixed martial arts debut, lacing up the gloves to fight Eugene Murray in San Diego.

Clark isn't your standard athlete – he's far more than that.

He was actually born without legs due to a rare disorder called caudal regression syndrome.

But that hasn't stopped him from well and truly becoming a fitness icon.

From gym workouts skateboarding to climbing and playing the drums, Clark knows no bounds when it comes to keeping active.

Oh, and he also happens to be a motivational speaker too.

But it's his latest move into MMA which has got a lot of people talking.

"I'm not exceptional because I don't have legs and I'm an athlete," Clark told Fox LA.

"I'm exceptional because I have a drive and I live by the mantra ‘No excuses’ and I push myself forward every day."

He added: “This is the start of another professional career for me and I’m here to rip his throat out and put on a show for the crowd.”

Clark actually holds a number of Guinness World Records too, one of which being the fastest person to travel 20 metres on two hands.

While he was growing up, life wasn't all smooth sailing though.

Sadly Clark was the subject of abuse and bullying, that was until a woman wintered his life who would change it forever.

That incredible lady ended up fostering Clark and adopted him shortly after.

"She gave me a stable home foundation finally," Clark said.

"And from then I was able to have just some piece of mind."

From NRL to AFL, cricket to rugby — you name it, Max watches it (with a beer in hand, of course). During his time at Fox Sports, he worked in the football department covering the Premier League, A-League, Socceroos and Matildas. Born a stone's throw away from West Ham's training ground, Max is obviously a die-hard Liverpool fan.
