Drake is no stranger to placing bets on the UFC and the rapper has placed another insane amount on the victor of a bout on the fight card of UFC 305.

The Canadian rapper has a net worth of some $250m, so it is fair to say he has a fair bit to his name and therefore has the chance to spend vast sums of money, if he so chooses.

He is not shy about putting bets on events held by the UFC, and like with any gambling, he has won some and lost some.

For instance, at UFC 287, Drake bet $500,000 on Israel Adesanya beating Alex Pereira by any method, as well as $400,000 on top of this on Adesanya winning by knockout.

However, at the co-event of UFC 287, Drake's bet of $300,000 on Jorge Masvidal beating Gilbert Burns and another $200,000 on him winning by knockout did not come off.

Drake has had other big pay days from betting on the UFC, including pocketing a cool £1.4m after backing Jon Jones to beat Ciryl Gane at UFC 285.

UFC 305 takes place tomorrow in Perth, Australia, and Adesanya will take on Dricus du Plessis in the Octagon in the main event middleweight class.

Middleweight champion Du Plessis will defend his title for the first time since becoming champion after his split decision victory against Sean Strickland.

Tensions have flared between him and Adesanya ahead of the huge tilt in Perth and boiled over during Friday’s press conference where Adesanya was reduced to tears as the pair exchanged verbal blows.

The bout has been 18 months in the making after comments from Du Plessis sparked the heated rivalry.

The rivalry will come to a head in the Octagon tomorrow, as Nigerian Adesanya will be aiming to take South African Du Plessis's newly won title away from him at the first opportunity.

Drake has now put a bet on the victor of the main event bout and, like previous gambles, is a huge amount of money.

The Canadian star has wagered a huge $450,000 on Adesanya to beat Du Plessis and thus claim the UFC middleweight title which he lost to Strickland at UFC 293 in Sydney.

Whether this massive bet comes off or not, we will find out very soon.
