Sean Strickland has criticised the UFC after a worrying video involving Bryce Mitchell circulated online.

Mitchell recently took to social media to post a video of himself with a bloody nose and tissues stuffed in his nostrils to stop the bleeding.

In the clip, he complained about the cost of seeing a doctor, claiming it would cost him $2,000 to have his nose fixed.

'Thug Nasty' then issued a plea for help from anyone who lived locally who could fix it for free.

He said: "If you can fix my nose for free in Searcy, Arkansas, right now, send me a message.

"And I’ll probably go to you instead of the doctor, because this is probably going to be thousands of dollars.

"And it just has to be pulled and put back straight. So if you all can help, let me know.”

The post, which can be viewed below and features graphic scenes, quickly spread online and caught the attention of former UFC middleweight champion Strickland, who criticised the promotion over its medical care.

On Instagram, Strickland wrote: "You have to have a fight booked to get medical from the UFC lmao what a joke."

The situation resolved itself for Mitchell, who later issued an update on social media confirming he had managed to fix his nose without help from fans or the UFC.

He posted another video with the caption: "I'm doin great.

"Thank yall im ready to fite wen they call dont worry the show must go on."

The 31-year-old American has become a controversial figure within the UFC, attracting attention for his outspoken views.

Mitchell is well-known to be a flat-earther and has repeatedly made controversial comments about politics, most recently labelling US President Donald Trump the 'Antichrist'.

His comments mark a major turnaround.

Mitchell was a guest at Trump's inauguration earlier this year and has previously said he would 'take a bullet' for the President.

However, in a more recent video on social media, Mitchell backtracked, calling Trump a 'corrupted leader' as well as labelling him a potential Antichrist figure.

Mitchell said: "This is really this bad, guys.

"I want y’all, if you’re a Christian, I want you to get into Revelation 13:3, and I want you to read that verse, yeah, about the Antichrist, about the one who was fatally wounded in the head.

"Then he was miraculously healed and the whole world marvelled at him and said, ‘No man can make war with him'.

"Yeah, I do think that Donald Trump is that beast of Revelation 13:3."
