Leaked footage of Nate Diaz sparring 30-1 pro boxer has got fans talking

Diaz is due to fight Jake Paul in Texas next month.

A clip from Nate Diaz’s boxing camp is going viral ahead of his highly-anticipated fight against Jake Paul.

The UFC legend is set to make his ring debut against YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in Dallas, Texas on August 5.

Diaz walked out on the UFC last year in pursuit of a lucrative career change to boxing, and Paul, 26, snubbed a rematch with Tommy Fury to face the veteran.

Leaked footage has since shown Diaz exchanging blows with his sparring partner, who is thought to be professional Brazilian boxer Esquiva Falcao.

However, fans were less than convinced by Diaz's technique, believing that he is no match for the 'Problem Child', Paul.

One fan wrote: "If this is real, Jake gonna smoke him!"

"There's no way MMA fans thought Nate was gonna win. Jake will literally flatline Nate and I'm not even a Jake Paul fan", another added.

"Bro, Jake first round KO", a third predicted.

"Yeah Jake gonna win", a fourth wrote.

"We boutta see Nate get slept damn", another said.

The 30–1 boxer and Olympic bronze medalist Falcao, was also less than impressed by Diaz's performance.

“At first I thought he was tired, and in the end it looked like he was dying," he said in a video on social media last month.

“His fighting style is crazy. You look at him and say, ‘Oh, he’s tired,’ and then we started sparring.

"Robert told me in the second round, ‘He’s tired already, hold back a little bit and keep the rhythm so he does at least 10 rounds.’

“I held back and kept boxing, and we did 12 rounds. He was tired but taking punches and throwing, too.

"[He] is bad, [he] is bad, but since he’s too heavy – he’s overweight, probably around 220lbs or more – and I’m the only big guy in the gym, I had to do it. But I liked doing it.”
