Jon Jones Verbally Dismantles MMA Star and Brands Him A**hole

The UFC legend didn't hold back when asked his opinions on the popular former fighter.

Jon Jones brutally attacked one of his former UFC rivals in a rant that has gone viral online.

There can be no doubt that across the history of the UFC, it's hard to argue that there have been many fighters as good as Jones.

The two-weight champion boasts an impressive record of 28 wins, one loss and one no contest, with several of his victories being over previously dominant champions.

When reflecting on Jones' storied career, many fans look back on his rivalries with other fighters widely regarded to be some of the best in their generation.

And ahead of Jones' reunion with perhaps the fiercest rival of his UFC career, the American didn't hold back when asked about his true feelings towards his fellow UFC legend.

In the peak of Jones' career, he faced former rival Daniel Cormier in two UFC bouts, with the genuine hatred between the pair clearly visible throughout the buildup to both fights and beyond.

Although Jones won both encounters, with one later overturned to a no contest after Jones tested positive for steroids, the rivalry between the pair has continued to define both men after their career, with it clear that they still cannot stand each other.

Therefore, it came as a surprise to many when it was announced that Cormier and Jones would face off once again as coaches for the ALF reality series, a Russian MMA series similar to the UFC's 'The Ultimate Fighter'.

But, in an interview with Red Corner MMA, Jones made it clear that the bad blood between him and Cormier is still there, despite the decision to take part in the show together.

Speaking about his rival, Jones said: “He’s just a d*ck head, Cormier really is. If you really get to know Daniel Cormier, he’s an a**hole. He didn’t really connect with any of the fighters here, he’s just an a**hole.

“I tried to make peace with him many times and he made it clear that he wants to be enemies for the rest of his life because it’s very lucrative for him.

“One thing I do know, is that I made him cry in front of the world. I took him off the list of being considered one of the greatest fighters of all time."

He continued: "“He’s just a d*ck head, you look at the way he treats his staff members. He brought out like 10 yes men with him and literally ‘go get me a water! where’s my this?! why is that this?!’ — he just bosses guys around.

"He’s just a d*ck head and the people around him know that.

“He will be even lower in the rankings of the greatest heavyweights of all time because my prospect Gable Steveson will be three times the champion Daniel Cormier ever was. He will always be in my shadow.”

It is not yet clear when the ALF series featuring Jones and Cormier will be released, but filming is believed to be taking place over to the coming weeks.
