Fans notice the major change Joe Rogan made for Donald Trump podcast

The UFC commentator marked the occasion of the former president's appearance on his show in a subtle way

Donald Trump was a guest on Joe Rogan's podcast last week and fans of the show have spotted a subtle change the host made for the episode that he has never done before.

The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcasts in the world, with the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Elon Musk and Snoop Dogg all previously appearing opposite the UFC commentator as guests on the show.

Averaging around 11 million listens per episode, Rogan signed a lucrative deal with Spotify back in 2020 that was reportedly worth $100 million.

The long-time MMA analyst ordinarily appears on the podcast – which is shown in video form on YouTube – in casual attire.

But for Trump's visit, Rogan made a key clothing change, instead wearing the style of black dress shirt he usually only wears during UFC pay-per-view broadcasts.

During the podcast, Rogan revealed that he has also been trying to get Kamala Harris – the current vice president and Trump's opponent in the 2024 election – on his show.

“I could imagine her [Harris] doing the show," Rogan told Trump. "I’ve been trying, she was supposed to do it and then she might still do it, I hope she does. I will talk to her like a human being and I will try and have a conversation with her.”

“I hope she does because it would be a mess," Trump said. "She will be lying on the floor; you’d be saying call in the medics.”

“I think we’d have a fine conversation," Rogan responded. "I think I will be able to talk to her. I wouldn’t try to interview her, I would just try and have a conversation with her and get to know her as a human being.

“That was my goal, having her on. To try and get her to express herself.”

But it seems as though Rogan will have to settle for having interviewed just one of the presidential candidates.

“We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast," a spokesperson for the Harris campaign told MSNBC. "Unfortunately, it isn’t going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign."
