Joe Rogan once 'refused' to release a podcast episode because he and a guest were “going at each other”.
Rogan, 57, is a hugely popular figure in the world of mixed martial arts and regularly commentates on UFC events as well as being a comedian and hosting the world’s most-listened-to podcast, the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’.
Public figures such as U.S. President Donald Trump, tech billionaire Elon Musk, ex-boxer Mike Tyson and fellow comic Bill Burr have all engaged in hours of conversation with Rogan, which has made for interesting viewing across over 2,000 episodes since 2009.

But according to one guest, an episode got so "off-track" that Rogan refused to air it.
In 2023, architectural designer and geologist Randall Carlson and controversial inventor Malcolm Bendall sat down with Rogan.
However, the episode reportedly became heated and, as a result, was never aired.

In April 2024, Carlson told the ‘Shawn Ryan Show’ Podcast: "Myself and Malcolm [Bendell] sat down, and Jamie had found this stuff from the 90s and early 2000s online, where it goes back to this controversy where they were trying to get the license away from Malcolm."
He added: "I had this slideshow we had put together and Joe was looking at paperwork before we came in, and he knows nothing about this except what he's seeing is trying to portray Malcolm as a religious nut.
"So, we went on the show, and it got contentious, and if it ever airs, you'll see me constantly trying to steer the conversation. But they were going at each other.

"When it was over, Joe calls me aside, and I'm already thinking about the ramifications.
“But he said, 'Hey, is it ok with you if I sat on this for a while, while I figure it out?'
"And I said 'Yeah, have it as long as you want,' and so it never has aired, which is fine with me because it got so off-track."
Rogan has not publicly addressed the claims made by Carlson, however, he has since appeared on the show alongside British author and journalist Graham Hancock.
Joe Rogan on worst guest
And despite the reported heated episode, another guest has been dubbed as 'the worst' ever by Rogan.

Archaeologist Dr Zahi Hawass joined Rogan earlier in May to discuss the mysteries of ancient Egypt but appeared to constantly interrupt Rogan and steered clear of several question, instead advising the host to read his book.
Rogan addressed this matter in last week's episode with NFL star Aaron Rodgers, he said: "That might have been the worst podcast I have ever done, but maybe a good one too.
"Just to see this closed-minded minded fellow that's been in charge of Gatekeeping all the knowledge about Egypt."
