Dana White once made a stunning revelation about Joe Rogan's UFC contract that many fight fans wouldn't know.
Rogan, a diehard MMA fan, has been contracted with the UFC since 1997.
He conducted post-fight interviews backstage at UFC 12: Judgement Day before moving into the commentary booth, where he is a colour commentator for US-based pay-per-view cards.

Rogan recently called the action at UFC 309 as he shared an exchange with Donald Trump, who attended the event in New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden.
According to White, he's the 'greatest combat sports commentator' of all time.
And the UFC CEO also revealed that Rogan worked his first 13 UFC shows for FREE.

Recalling how White signed the 57-year-old to the UFC, he said via MMA Mania: "I ended up reaching out to Rogan, we hit it off and that’s it.
“He said, ‘Wait a minute. So you’re telling me I can come to the sport that I love the most in the world, have the best seat in the house, and talk about it on TV? I’m in!’
"He did the first 13 for free, and the rest is history. Now he has the biggest podcast in the world, and he’s the greatest combat sports commentator of all time.”

Rogan worked alongside Mike Goldberg for almost every UFC event in the early days.
But, following Goldberg's departure, Rogan teamed up with Jon Anik, who does the play-by-play, and UFC legend Daniel Cormier, who provides colour commentary.
The podcaster and comedian will be back in the commentary booth for next month's UFC 310 in Las Vegas, Nevada, when Alexandre Pantoja defends his UFC flyweight title against promotional newcomer Kai Asakura, who starred in Rizin.
A welterweight title eliminator between undefeated contenders Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Garry is also on the bill.
