Conor McGregor's staggering UFC payslips 'leaked' as Irish fighter tipped to finally make return

Conor McGregor's UFC rival has sent him a surprise message.

Conor McGregor's staggering UFC payslips were leaked through the UFC anti-trust case as the Irish fighter has been tipped to return to action.

Before the case came to an end, a report unsealed in the UFC anti-trust case revealed the paydays for the biggest stars in the promotion between 2011 and 2016.

McGregor featured heavily in the report considering his status as the biggest name in the company during that period.

Five of his UFC purses revealed that he earned an eye-watering $25 million.

In July 2015, McGregor headlined his first UFC pay-per-view event. He was due to face Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title until the Brazilian pulled out of their championship clash.

Chad Mendes replaced Aldo, with the 'Notorious' stopping the American to capture the interim UFC featherweight title.

He pocketed $3,285,000, which included a discretionary bonus of $2.11 million.

For his high-profile grudge match against Aldo, McGregor earned $4,476,662 or $4,536,932, with his opponent earning $2,377,699.

He collected $5,576,315 when he suffered a shock submission defeat to Nate Diaz before bagging $5,615,490 for the rematch, which he won.

Diaz, meanwhile, netted 2,838,158 before bagging $4,315,490 for the second fight.

McGregor made a swift return to action after avenging his defeat to Diaz by headlining UFC's debut show in New York City, New York, where he fought for the UFC lightweight title.

He knocked out Eddie Alvarez in the second round to become a two-weight UFC champion, making $6,812,374 in the process.

Conor McGregor's UFC payslips between 2011 and 2016:

UFC 189: $3,285,000 (includes $2.11M discretionary bonus) vs. Chad Mendes

UFC 194: $4,476,662 or $4,536,932 vs. Jose Aldo ($2,377,699)

UFC 196: $5,576,315 vs. Nate Diaz ($2,838,158)

UFC 202: $5,615,490 vs. Nate Diaz 2 ($4,315,490)

UFC 205: $6,812,374 vs. Eddie Alvarez

Conor McGregor tipped to finally return to the UFC

McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since July 2021. He was scheduled to return against Michael Chandler last summer but was forced to withdraw after suffering an injury.

A new date has yet to be set for his UFC comeback, but Dustin Poirier is backing his former foe to make a return to the famed Octagon.

"I’d love to talk down, talk trash on Conor, but if anybody can put it all together and come back this guy can," Poirier told Outta Pocket.

"If he can find that passion and that fire and put it together. I’m not saying anybody can, but this guy can.

"He’s special. He has something special, but only he knows when he looks in the mirror if he can really do it again.

"But if he believes it, I believe he could."
