Conor McGregor has sent fans into meltdown with latest tease ahead of UFC 300.

Over the last few months, there has been great anticipation ahead of the promotion’s historic UFC 300 event, which will get underway in Las Vegas, Nevada next week.

Ahead of the event, UFC boss Dana White has teased fans over a possible return for McGregor in the near future.

White took to social media and posted a video of McGregor, with a caption that read: “Coming soon…”

To further add fuel to the fire, the Irishman himself has now teased fans with his latest social media activity.

Posting a video of himself, McGregor also wrote: “Coming Soon”.

The 35-year-old has not fought in UFC since his defeat by Dustin Poirier back in July 2021.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “The King is back!”

Another tweeted: “Embrace the setbacks, for they only serve to ignite the fire within. Conor McGregor's return to the UFC is a testament to resilience, determination, and the unwavering pursuit of greatness.”

A third fan added: “Welcome Back GOAT.”

Someone else wrote: “LFG CONOR THE GOAT IS COMING BACK FOR HIS THRONE.”

A fifth commented: “Let's go Champ Champ.”

Speaking last year, McGregor insisted he was eager to get back into UFC.

He said: “Get me back in there. The Mac has lots to offer and loads to deliver.

“For all the figures I’ve brought in this game, I sell more than all of them combined.”

He added: “No one in the history of the fight game has been treated the way I’ve been getting treated at this minute.

“From what I came through, to what I bring. They f****** should open the floodgates for me. I’m waiting! And my patience is wearing thin on me waiting.”

Speaking last month, McGregor said: “We got confirmation a few days ago that it's all systems go.

“And 'The Mac', 'The Notorious' will be returning to the UFC Octagon this summer.”
