Conor McGregor has issued a five-word 'response' after it was claimed he was removed from the UFC roster.

McGregor is set to return to the UFC in the near future, having returned to the drug testing pool.

Dana White has revealed what the 37-year-old 'keeps telling' him about his proposed UFC comeback.

But McGregor's UFC future was clouded by uncertainty after X account Roster Watch, which updates when fighters have been added or released from the UFC via the company's website, posted that he had been removed from the roster.

But White dismissed rumours that McGregor had been let go by the UFC as he shared a firm response on social media.

Combat sports reporter Ariel Helwani also confirmed his status with the UFC, announcing he had not parted ways with the MMA leaders.

He also revealed what McGregor told him amid his plot to return to action.

"Conor McGregor HAS NOT parted ways the UFC," Helwani wrote on X.

"Both @TheNotoriousMMA and his team confirmed this to me."

He added: "He also confirmed he is back in the pool, has submitted tests and all have come back clean.

"'It’s all systems a go,' he said."

When is Conor McGregor returning to the UFC?

McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since his crushing defeat to Dustin Poirier back in July 2021.

He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in the main-event of UFC 303 last summer until he was forced to withdraw due to a toe injury.

McGregor hasn't been given a new date since but he is eyeing a spot on the UFC White House event.

The UFC are set to stage a blockbuster card at the Washington landmark on July 4, 2026, with McGregor looking to land on the historic show.

What has Dana White said about Conor McGregor fighting at the White House?

The biggest names in the UFC want a piece of the White House event, including McGregor and Jon Jones, who himself returned to the drug testing pool after refusing to fight Tom Aspinall.

But it appears the 'Notorious' holds the advantage over Jones as White states he 'trusts' the Irishman with the responsibility of main-eventing at the White House.

"I trust Conor. Conor McGregor has never, ever - unless he is injured - this guy has always delivered," White explained. "Jon, I'm a little more skeptical about."
