Mike Tyson picked out four MMA superstars as his favourite UFC fighters.

Mike Tyson has named his four favourite UFC fighters of all-time, which includes a controversial star.

Tyson is a big UFC fan as he's pals with CEO Dana White, who was once asked to name his GOATs of the sport by the boxing icon.

When naming his favourite UFC fighters in history, 'Iron' Mike picked out four big names - selecting two active stars.

He named Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Colby Covington and Royce Gracie as his four favourite UFC fighters.

On the Full Send Podcast, the former world heavyweight champion was asked to name his favourite fighter to which he replied: "Wow, too many. I wouldn’t. It wouldn’t be too modern if it would be. Some guys during the middle passage of it, you know when it first started, some of the guys was incredible.

"Now the guys, everybody, like I always loved Royce Gracie."

He added: "He was everybody’s friend, and he was the David beating all the Goliath. But now everybody knows their style, now you know."

In another interview, Tyson revealed that Jones, Nurmagomedov and Covington are among his favourite UFC fighters.

"It’s needed in our society. No one thing suits everyone," he explained via the Metro.

"There’s a lot of guys. There’s Khabib and Jon Jones. There’s just so many good fighters out there. Colby Covington.

"There’s so many exciting fighters, they’re out there man."

Gracie is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in MMA. The Brazilian won UFC 1, UFC 2 and UFC 4 during his legendary career.

Nurmagomedov, who held the UFC lightweight title, walked away from the sport boasting a phenomenal 29-0 professional record, beating the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.

Jones and Covington are still active, with 'Bones' currently in possession of the UFC heavyweight championship while 'Chaos' hasn't fought his defeat to Leon Edwards, where he made headlines for all the wrong reasons after taunting his opponent's late father.
