The United States will celebrate their 250th birthday this summer and president Trump plans to commemorate the milestone with a series of extravagant events, including a UFC card at the White House.
An IndyCar race will also be a part of their celebrations, with the streets of Washington to host an event.
Trump made the announcement on Friday and in doing so, he provided a fresh update on the UFC White House card.

The MMA leaders will set up its famed Octagon on the White House lawn in what is set to be a stacked card, featuring a slew of UFC title fights.
And, according to Trump, the UFC will build a 'stadium' in 'front of the White House' that will hold 'over 100,000 people'.
"UFC is coming as you know in front of the White House," said Trump. "They’re building literally a stadium. We’re going to have over 100,000 people."

UFC CEO Dana White has previously claimed they will have a crowd of up to 5,000 people on the White House lawn, with a further 85,000 fans across the street in a park
"We literally just got done going through all the logistics of how to set it up there, how many people we can have," White told CBS. "It’s looking like we’ll have 5,000 people live on the White House lawn. It will be on the south lawn and then across the street is the park, it’s called the Ellipse, I think, and we can have 85,000 people there.
"We’re going to have big screens and we’re going to have a stage, we’ll have music throughout the day. We’re basically going to take over D.C. that whole week with lots of different things for fight fans. Then obviously a one-of-one event to be able to have it at the White House. Fighters will actually walk from the Oval Office to the Octagon."

Who is fighting on the UFC White House card?
As of yet, there is no official fight for the White House card but several UFC stars are hoping to land a spot on the momentous show, including the likes of Conor McGregor, Jon Jones and Alex Pereira.
McGregor is eyeing a fight against Michael Chandler following the cancellation of their 2024 bout, while Jones is eager to face UFC light-heavyweight king Pereira.
Given his relationship with Trump, Bo Nickal could be in line for a fight at the White House, with Justin Gaethje, who beat Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324, also keen to fight on the card.
