Dana White has brutally axed a second fighter after UFC Saudi Arabia following claims of a 'robbery'.

A middleweight clash between Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov headlined UFC's return to Saudi Arabia last weekend.

It was the promotion's second card in the Kingdom following last June's event.

Imavov beat Adesanya to score the biggest win of his MMA career, with the Frenchman stopping the ex-UFC champion in the second round of their five-round Middle East clash.

A middleweight bout also served as the co-main event in the shape of Michael 'Venom' Page vs. Sharaputdin Magomedov.

And Page outpointed Magomedov to hand the Dagestani the first defeat of his professional MMA career.

There were two heavyweight bouts on the card, too, with Sergei Pavlovich beating Jairzinho Rozenstruik by unanimous decision and Hamdy Abdelwahab defeating Jamal Pogues.

Rozenstruik has since been cut by the UFC, with White also releasing Pogues from the promotion.

Pogues suffered a split decision defeat to Abdelwahab, who was awarded the fight by two of the three judges.

Pogues had gone 1-2 in the UFC before his UFC Saudi Arabia bout after coming through Dana White's Contender Series.

He beat Josh Parisian in his Octagon debut before dropping a decision to Tom Aspinall's teammate Mick Parkin.

The American bounced back by beating Thomas Petersen.

Following his defeat in Saudi Arabia, he has departed the UFC, with some fans on social media bemoaning his release considering the nature of his controversial defeat.

One X user wrote: "How do you get robbed and then removed?"

A second slammed: "Pogues actually sucks . But let’s talk about Rozenstruik. My man doesn’t deserve to get removed fr."

A third claimed: "Should’ve cut both, that fight was awful."

A fourth argued: "Poor guy won the fight, got robbed and now lost his job because of it."

Another said: "Bro got robbed and then got removed we need justice."
