Dana White threatens to 'strip' Jon Jones of UFC title if he doesn't fight Tom Aspinall with deadline set
UFC boss Dana White says Jon Jones could be STRIPPED of his title if the 37-year-old does not agree to fight Tom Aspinall.
The MMA world is waiting patiently for a bout between Jones and Aspinall after the former beat Stipe Miocic on his return to action in 2024.
Rumours have swooped in suggesting Jones is waiting for a bigger pay-check as the Salford-born star waits patiently in the wings.
White has since been asked whether a fight could still happen between the pair amid claims everything is not as it seems.

"There is no situation as it is the biggest fight we could make," explained White when speaking to TheMacLife reporter Oscar Willis.
"I know the fans like to mess with Jon [Jones] but Jon Jones is not afraid of anybody, Jon Jones will fight anybody.
"It is just a matter of getting the fight done now and that's our job.
When asked whether a time frame has been set, White noted that the clock may eventually get away from the proposed negotiations.
"100%, listen, if we do not get the fight on, then we make another fight," added the 55-year-old.
"But, not last night but the night before, I was up in my room with my people till six in the morning and we are working on lots of things right now.
"There is lots of good s*** going on right now."
Former UFC icon Michael Bisping has also threw his ten pence in just a few days ago admitting he does believe eventually the pair will go toe-to-toe.
“Well, I definitely believe the fight will happen this year,” Bisping told MMA Fighting while previewing his role in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, which opened in theaters Jan. 10.
“Seems like Jones is up for it, seems like the UFC wants it to happen.
"I mean, they said to Tom Aspinall, it’s a done deal, it’s going to happen, and it would just be such a shame if that fight didn’t happen.
“I think it’s going to happen. International Fight Week, Las Vegas 2025. But what do I know I’m not basing that on any inside information.”
