Dana White received a loud cheer from those in attendance at the UFC 304 press conference after he vowed to "absolutely" make a fight happen.
Salford-born fighter Tom Aspinall will defend his interim UFC heavyweight title against Curtis Blaydes in Saturday's much-anticipated co-main event.
Paddy Pimblett is also on the UFC 304 card in what many believe is the biggest fight of his career so far against Bobby Green before Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad go head-to-head for a second time.

Edwards, Muhammad, Aspinall and others took to the stage on Thursday to take questions from the media.
And during the press conference, Dana White was asked by a reporter if he was planning to have the winner of Aspinall vs. Blaydes face the winner of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, which is expected to happen later this year.
White was quick with his response, which brought thousands of cheers from those in the arena. Check out that moment below:
Aspinall, however, is unconvinced a fight with Jones will happen. “No, it’s not going to happen, mate," he told Main Event’s Fight Week program. “It’s not happening and I’m not bothered about it.

“I’m not saying I wouldn’t like that fight. I’d love it. And I’ve made it obvious it’s the fight I wanted, and still want of course.
“But, I dunno. Can I swear on here? ’ll change it. I’m shooting in the dark with that one. I was going to say something else, but I’m shooting in the dark … there’s nothing going on with that.”
There is no doubting Blaydes will be a tough opponent for the interim champ.
In fact, Aspinall believes Saturday's fight would be tougher than facing Jones, who is widely regarded as the greatest mixed martial artist in history.

"I don't know how Jon Jones looks at heavyweight," he told Sky Sports ahead of UFC 304.
"We've seen him at heavyweight for 1-2 minutes. As a heavyweight, Curtis Blaydes has proven multiple times that he is elite. And he is in his prime, unlike Jon Jones."
