UFC President and CEO Dana White has revealed the reason why he never wants to meet NBA great Michael Jordan.

Having won an incredible six NBA titles, Jordan is widely considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and is admired by all fans of the sport.

UFC boss White is perhaps one of the biggest fans of 'His Airness' and has often spoken out his talents, even admitting that he believes they would have allowed him to be a successful MMA fighter.

However, despite his self-proclaimed love of Jordan, White has revealed that he hopes that he will never meet the basketball great for one specific reason.

Speaking on the Sage Steele Podcast, White admitted: "Michael Jordan. I don't ever want to meet him, I don't ever want to talk to him. I love Michael Jordan.

"I love Michael Jordan, I love the killer that he was, everything about him. If there was anything that could ruin the love that I have for Jordan, I don't want to meet him. I don't need to meet him"

The UFC President claimed that it was Jordan's ruthless attitude and desire to win that led to him earning White's adoration.

"I watched 'The Last Dance' three times and I wear his shoes and his socks still to this day," White said

"It's just all the things that I hear about Michael Jordan, even the bad stuff I hear about Michael Jordan I love."

Dana White weighs in on the Michael Jordan vs LeBron James GOAT debate

While speaking on the podcast, the 55-year-old also gave his opinion on the legendary rivalry between Jordan and current NBA great LeBron James.

For years, basketball fans have clashed over which of the two men should be considered the greatest player of all tine, but White thinks that there's no need to compare the two NBA icons.

"Michael Jordan and LeBron couldn't be any more opposite in my opinion," White claimed.

"I don't judge anyone by their politics, this is America, whoever you are and whatever you believe in, knock yourself out.

"But one thing about LeBron, he is one of these guys that became a massive superstar overnight, you never hear anything bad about LeBron.

"I mean there isn't too many things that you could say about LeBron that are bad, unless you just don't agree with him politically which is ridiculous.

"I respect him very much, but Jordan is just my... I love Jordan."
