Conor McGregor is blocked from marrying Dee Devlin at the couple's dream venue, it has been revealed.
The former two-weight UFC champion and his long-time partner got engaged in August 2020, with McGregor making the official announcement on Instagram by posting a picture of the ring - with the caption, "What a birthday, my future wife!”.
The couple have been together since 2008 before McGregor developed into one of the biggest stars in all of box office, sharing four children in Conor Jr, Croia, Rian and Mack.
They have not tied the knot despite five years passing but a new report from the Irish Mirror claims that it will happen imminently.

According to the report, citing insiders, McGregor and his fiancee are planning a secret ceremony before Christmas.

They are both on the same page in wanting a Catholic wedding, with their absolute dream location the iconic Vatican in Rome.
However, their preferred venue of the Sistine Chapel is off the table because the Vatican prohibits weddings - leaving Cappella del Caro as the frontrunner for the special day - which could come on Friday December 12.
"Conor and Dee want to get married before Christmas and are planning a wedding at the Vatican in Rome," a McGregor source told the newspaper.
"They are both staunch Catholics and it is their dream to wed there. They ideally would like to marry in the Sistine Chapel but it is not allowed so they may have to settle for the Cappella del Caro which can accommodate 100 people beside St Peter's Basilica. It is all hush hush at the moment but December 12 is the date mentioned so we will have to wait and see."
Rules McGregor and fiancee must follow for wedding
Cappella del Coro is the only place inside St Peter's Basilica where weddings can take place and it is reported that the couple will require a letter from their parish priest to give the seal of approval.
The photographer in question must get prior sign-off, while only church-music style is allowed - meaning McGregor won't be able to enter to 50 Cent's 'I Get Money' or Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G.

Weddings at the chapel, often used by Irish couples, take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - which works for McGregor and his other half as they are planning for their nuptials to take place on the latter. Services typically take place at 10:30am.
Having gone more than four years without competing in UFC, McGregor is targeting a return to the Octagon in 2026 as part of the mooted White House show.
He was set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 last year before a toe injury in training resulted in McGregor pulling out.
