UFC fans can't believe the judges' controversial scorecards for Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon.

Pimblett earned his fourth UFC win in a row at UFC 282 as he defeated Gordon in their lightweight showdown in Las Vegas.

All three judges scored the contest 29-28 to the Liverpool star, but fight fans online aren't convinced with the scoring of the bout.

Pimblett surprisingly won Round 1 on two of three judges' scorecards and inexplicably won Round Three on Chris Lee's scorecard.

People on social media feel the American was hard done by and should've been awarded the fight.

One Twitter user wrote: "It’s inconceivable Paddy won round 1. That was 30-27 Gordon, yet the UFC find the only 3 people in the world who score that for Paddy. One of the worst."

A second tweeted: "I thought Round 1 for Gordon was the clearest round. Very surprised by this one."

A third added: "Put those three judges on the post-fight presser, I need answers."

A fourth said: "This is mental. What fight were they watching???"

Another commented: "Pimblett definitely did not win round one, but jokester Doug Crosby and his cohort Ron McCarthy apparently decided that scoring the round for Pimblett was totally cool."

Former UFC star Nate Diaz also thought Pimblett lost the fight, tweeting: "Bruh? You lost that fight."

Despite the online rage, the 27-year-old believes he deservedly won the match-up, claiming he won the first two rounds.

Speaking to Joe Rogan inside the Octagon, he said: "That wasn’t close. I won the first two rounds and then coasted in the third.

"I knew I won the first two rounds easily. Jared’s one tough motherf**ker. Hats off to Jared."

Pimblett improves his professional record to 20-3 (4-0 in the UFC) and could look to return to action next March, when the UFC returns to London.
