Khamzat Chimaev Brutally Responds To Colby Covington's 'Cumshot' Jibe, He Ends Him With Series Of Savage Tweets

Speaking ahead of his second fight with Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington claimed that Khamzat Chimaev has been "fighting a bunch of washouts."

Khamzat Chimaev has broken his silence and savagely ended Colby Covington with a series of brutal tweets after the UFC star called him “Cumshot Chimaev.”

The 27-year-old Russian-born Swedish star made his triumphant return to the octagon against Li Jingliang at UFC 267 last weekend.

Chimaev showcased his incredible strength by lifting Jingliang and carrying him across the octagon before sending a message to UFC president Dana White at cageside

The undefeated UFC star extended his record to 10-0 after submitting Jingliang with a rear-naked choke in the first round at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Covington mocked Chimaev for contemplating retirement after contracting COVID-19 and tore into the idea of him being considered for a UFC title shot.

The 33-year-old American star said: “You mean ‘Cumshot Chimaev?’ How does a guy who has three fights in the UFC be considered for a title shot? 

“He hasn't fought anybody inside the top 10, he hasn't fought anybody who's still in the UFC. I mean, his last fight, no-one really knows who he fought. Who is that guy? I've never heard of that Chinese guy.

“He's fighting a bunch of washouts. These are guys that he has been tailor-made to wrestle, take down and win.”

Chimaev posted an image of a bloodied Covington on Twitter and captioned his post: “You will never see me like this.”

The MMA fighter proceeded to taunt Covington with more images of him hurt inside the octagon before sending a message to the UFC.

Chimaev tagged UFC’s Twitter account and posted a GIF of a wolf, referring to his nickname ‘Borz’ (which translates to the wolf in Chechen).

White has hinted that Chimaev’s next UFC opponent could be Nate Diaz, who has only one fight remaining on his current UFC contract.

Covington will make his return to the octagon in a rematch with welterweight champ Kamaru Usman at UFC 268 on Saturday.

Chaos, who hasn’t fought since his win over Tyron Woodley in September 2020, was stopped in the fifth round by Usman in their UFC 245 clash in December 2019.
