Kevin Holland secured a brutal knockout victory in the third round of his UFC 287 bout against Santiago Ponzinibbio.

It was one round a piece heading into the third with the Argentinian intent on damaging the American’s leg.

It was looking tight heading into the end of the fight but Holland pulled out a mammoth knockout victory over his opponent catching him with a left hook.

But it was his comments after the fight that truly spiced things up.

The welterweight found himself in a verbal altercation with a certain Jorge Masvidal in the lead-up to the fight.

A video surfaced during the week of the two in a shouting match at the UFC fight hotel.

Things got broken up before they turned physical but it’s clear there was beef between them.

Masvidal is slated to meet Gilbert Burns later on in the event but he may already have a challenger in wait.

Following his convincing win Holland decided to call out his rival for the BMF title.

Masvidal hasn’t defended the BMF title since defeating Nate Diaz in the inaugural matchup for the symbolic belt.

But the welterweight is keen for Masvidal to put it on the line in the future.

In the post-fight interview, he stated: “There’s no badder mother f**ker than me. See you soon boy."
