Video of Israel Adesanya's reaction to Jon Jones win goes viral, UFC fans are stunned

Israel Adesanya couldn't believe Jon Jones' performance at UFC 285.

A video of Israel Adesanya's immediate reaction to Jon Jones' stunning victory over Ciryl Gane has emerged online and it makes for brilliant viewing.

Jones made a triumphant return as he defeated Gane in the main-event of UFC 285 to become the new UFC heavyweight champion.

He easily submitted the Frenchman in just over two minutes of the very first round to cement his GOAT status.

His performance stunned fans inside the T-Mobile Arena as well as Adesanya, who couldn't believe how 'subtle' he made the big win look.

A clip from Adesanya's YouTube blog has surfaced online, with MMA fans praising his reaction considering their rivalry.

Adesanya and Jones appeared to be on collision course after they traded brutal words on social media.

But the former UFC middleweight champion put their beef aside and applauded Jones' victory over Gane.

His reaction sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "This made me like Izzy a lot more."

A second tweeted: "They’re both definitely fans of each other. If they had a real face to face conversation they’d squash whatever beef they got."

A third added: "Impressive. There’s no bitterness there."

A fourth said: "Izzy was a huge fan of jones before they had words with eachother that's the truth. Definitely a level of respect between the two."

Another wrote: "Izzy seems like a genuine guy."

Credit to Adesanya who didn't bad-mouth Jones as he gave him his dues despite everything that has been said between the two UFC stars.

'Bones', meanwhile, is set to defend his newly-minted belt against Stipe Miocic in July.

Speaking to Joe Rogan inside the Octagon, he said: "I've been working for this for a long time. A lot of people thought I wouldn't even be coming back. I've been faithful to my goal. I've been faithful to the mission.

"Stipe Miocic, I hope you're training," he added. "You're the greatest heavyweight of all time and I want you. I want you real bad."

As for 'The Last Stylebender', he's coming off a devastating loss to Alex Pereira, but they run it back next month at UFC 287.
