Bryson DeChambeau's comment about Rory McIlroy has emerged after an apparent snub at the Masters.
Back in April, McIlroy reached the pinnacle of golf after winning the 2025 Masters title.
The Northern Irishman beat England's Justin Rose in a tense play-off, ending his 11-year wait for a fifth major title.
On the final day, it was reported that McIlroy was so locked in, he didn't even speak with his playing partner DeChambeau.

When asked how McIlroy was feeling after the win, DeChambeau said: "No idea. I didn't talk to him once all day. He wouldn't talk to me."
The American said McIlroy was "just being focused" and his way of doing things ultimately led to him getting the job done.
Speaking this week at the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere, DeChambeau was asked how he would go about beating McIlroy at the Ryder Cup.
As reported by Golf WRX, he said: "I’ll be chipring in his ear this time Now, if we go up against each other, I mean you can be sure of it.
"I’ll get into his ear a little bit."
Last week, McIlroy fell short on home turf as he finished seventh in The Open. American Scottie Scheffler came out on top ahead of Harris English and Chris Gotterup.

Speaking about his own performance, McIlroy said: "I tried as best as I could to keep my emotions in check, especially walking up the last there and that reception.
"It's been an awesome week. I've gotten everything I wanted out of this week apart from a claret jug."
He added: "Hopefully I'll have one or two Opens left here, if The R&A decide to keep coming back, probably one while I'm still competitive and another one while I'm more gray than I already am."
