Basketball is not the only sport Michael Jordan is passionate about but the costs of being a member of his own golf club is truly eye-watering.
Jordan is best known for his spell in the NBA which has him firmly in the conversation for being basketball's GOAT, thanks to a legendary spell with the Chicago Bulls.
The now-retired Jordan, who last played in 2003 after ending his career with the Washington Wizards, is a six-time NBA champion following his time with the Bulls and was crowned the MVP in the NBA Finals a total of six times.

Jordan was also named the NBA's Most Valuable Player overall on five occasions.
Jordan's massive reach off the court came through his partnership with Nike on the Air Jordan trainers, and his exploits on the big screen by appearing in the 1996 film Space Jam.
But though Jordan has basketball to thanks for his career after an illustrious spell on the court, it is not the only sport he has a passion for.

MJ is a co-owner of the 23XI Racing team in the NASCAR Cup Series, while he did also own a stake in the Charlotte Hornets before selling his share in 2023.
But golf has also proved to be a big part of Jordan's post-NBA career.

He has played in celebrity golf tournaments, while thanks to having a net worth estimated by Forbes this year to be $3.5 billion, he has even been able to buy a course.

He is the majority investor in Grove XXIII which is in Hobe Sound, Florida, which reportedly cost a cool $15 million to construct and boasts a 15,000 square foot clubhouse.
But if you want to be a member at MJ's golf course, you'd better have deep pockets to be able to afford the fees.
To become a member will set you back a cool $250,000, while every month in costs $20,000 in dues to continue that membership.
Golf tournaments typically carry big prizes for winning, such as The Masters, which this year had a prize fund of $21 million and $4.2 million for the eventual winner Rory McIlroy.

And one particular tournament held at Grove XXIII did not carry a prize fund of that amount, but instead winners could claim a bottle of tequila called Cincoro Extra Anejo which is worth a cool $4,000, according to former PGA winner Keegan Bradley, which he won after teaming up with Jordan.
