Fans Surprised To See Jose Mourinho Run On The Pitch To Confront Marcus Rashford

Fans Surprised To See Jose Mourinho Run On The Pitch To Confront Marcus Rashford

There was just minutes left of the game when Mourinho sprung into action to shout at the youngster.

Jose Mourinho is the kind of man that is never happy, he definitely points out to you what would have made an even better Christmas present no matter how well you nail it, and despite a 4-2 win over Watford he wasn't happy with Marcus Rashford.

Tuesday night's task for Manchester United was a tricky away trip to Watford. The Hornets, who weirdly have a deer as their logo (yes I googled why but it's still weird), beat United 3-1 at Vicarage Road last season and they're playing very well this season.

However the Red Devils took a 3-0 lead into the half-time break through a brace from Ashley Young and a strike from Anthony Martial but despite United having plenty of chances in the second half Marcos Silva's side brought it back to 3-2.

A Jesse Lingard solo goal guaranteed the points for Mourinho's side and the Portuguese manager must have been happy but fans were spotting a moment that suggested the opposite.

With not long left of the game to go the former Real Madrid boss was seen bolting from his position on the sidelines to run on the pitch and shout out Marcus Rashford:

Rashford had come on in the 65th minute to replace Anthony Martial, who had a blinder, and it seems that Mourinho, as is often the case, wasn't pleased with the forward's effort.

A lot of fans were talking about the incident on social media:

Not many managers employ such tactics but like him or not his methods usually get results!
