Barcelona Player Has Injured Himself After Bizarre Incident On Team Bus

Don't you just hate it when you fall asleep on a bus, wake up three hours later and somehow, you've hurt yourself in the process?

Well, that's exactly what happened to Barcelona defender Douglas.

Douglas, who is on loan at Sporting Gijon, suffered a 'gluteal' injury due to his sleeping position on the team bus', according to Gijon coach Gerardo Ruiz.

The injury was caused by poor posture during his sleep.

It hasn't been the greatest week for Douglas.

The 26-year-old found the headlines earlier in the week after it was revealed that he was so upset by the prospect of leaving Barcelona, that he refused to leave the club's office he went to sign the transfer papers confirming his move to Sporting Gijon.

It is being reported that Douglas could miss Gijon's next game against Barcelona.
