Virgil van Dijk Celebrated Mohamed Salah's Goal Before Penalty Was Struck, He Never Had A Doubt

Virgil van Dijk brilliantly celebrated Mohamed Salah's goal before he struck his penalty during Liverpool's win over Brighton.

Salah doubled his side's lead from the spot following Luis Diaz's brave header in the 19th minute

The visitors were awarded a spot-kick after Yves Bissouma handled Naby Keita's shot inside the box.

And Salah made no mistake from 12-yards, smashing down the middle - with Van Dijk nonchalantly celebrating the goal before the penalty was even hit.

BT Sport shared a clip of the Dutchman celebrating as Salah ran up to take the penalty.

Salah's goal against Brighton brought up his 20th league goal of the season.

In doing so, he becomes only the sixth player to score 20+ goals in four Premier League campaigns.

Jurgen Klopp's team are now just three points behind league leaders Manchester City, who have 69 points on the board.

The race for the title is hotting as Pep Guardiola's charges resume their league venture at Crystal Palace on Monday.
