Liverpool defender Van Dijk and Manchester City midfielder De Bruyne went toe-to-toe for domestic and European honours throughout last season.
De Bruyne ended up with yet another Premier League winners' medal after City narrowly beat Liverpool to the title by a single point.
Meanwhile, Van Dijk won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup with Liverpool.
Both players were included in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year after impressive seasons for their respective sides.
But despite the ongoing rivalry between their two clubs, Van Dijk and De Bruyne are known to be good friends.
Footage has now emerged of the pair partying together at the Ibiza club Ushuaïa.
The pair can be seen hugging and laughing while watching a set being played.
Earlier this year, De Bruyne explained his close relationship with Van Dijk after the pair were spotted chatted following a crucial match at the Etihad.
"I know Virgil… me and Virgil see each other a lot," said De Bruyne.
"Our children go to the same school and they like to play together, so it was just a friendly chat."
De Bruyne and Van Dijk are expected to return from their summer holidays in the coming days as Manchester City and Liverpool gear up for the new season.
Liverpool face rivals Manchester United in their opening pre-season fixture in Bangkok on July 12.
Meawhile, City take on Mexican side Club America in their first pre-season game in Houston on July 21.
City will later face Liverpool for the Community Shield on July 30, with Van Dijk and De Bruyne set to renew their rivalry on the pitch.
