The best young dribblers in world football have been revealed and the best Premier League player on the list is likely to surprise fans.

There's little as exhilarating in football than watching a player slalom is way through an opposition team or go on a mazy run right through the heart of a side.

Jamie Tartt's run against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in AFC Richmond's most recent game was as lovely as they come, especially as it mattered more than Joao Felix's attempt against Manchester United on Thursday, with his side already 4-0 down.

Whatever happens at the end of it, a successful dribble is always something that will get fans off their seats and the statisticians working hard.

Vinicius Jr is well known as one of the best dribblers in the world at the moment but unfortunately right now the Real Madrid forward is having to concentrate on the awful racist abuse he's been getting.

There was some amazing support for the Brazilian on Wednesday night as the home fans gave him a huge ovation during Real's game with Rayo Vallecano.

The 22-year-old has now been named the best young dribbler in the world, thanks to CIES Observatory's latest list of the world's best players.

Based on the number of minutes per dribble, the percentage of successful dribbles and the ability of the league, Vinicius came top of every player aged under 23 who has played at least 1500 minutes of football in the past year.

According to the stats boffins, the former Flamengo forward has a successful dribble every 15 minutes and 32 seconds and a completion rate of 50.3%

Fellow Brazilian Angelo Gabriel has a better record hand him, only waiting 13.56 minutes per successful dribble and have a better success rate but the Brazilian League is ranked far below La Liga.

Likewise Ajax's Mohammed Kudus, who was linked with some big moves earlier in the summer, has the best success rate in the top 20 but a lower league difficulty.

Brighton's Facundo Buonanotte is the youngest player in the top 100 and it will come as a surprise to find that he's the best young dribbler in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old Argentinian has played just 475 minutes in the Premier League this season but he also featured heavily for Rosario Central before moving to England.

Phil Foden, Michael Olise, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are the other players to make the top 20 from England, and the Arsenal duo have also been in the running for the team of the season according to some.
