Vinicius Junior Joins Elite List Of Players To Reach 20 Goals And 20 Assists In A Season This Century

The Real Madrid star is on 21 goals and 20 assists for the season.

​​Vinicius Junior has joined an elite list of players to have reached 20 goals and 20 assists following his heroics against Levante. 

The Brazilian ace starred as Real Madrid thrashed Levante 6-0, scoring a brilliant hat-trick and recording an assist. 

His heroics for the Spanish giants saw him reach an impressive landmark of 20 goals and 20 assists.

Vinicius Jr, who has 21 goals in all competitions this season, joined an exclusive club which includes the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry, among others.

What's more, it's only happened on 30 occasions in Europe's top five leagues in the 21st century, according to figures on Transfermarkt.

Messi incredibly owns eight of the 30, with Luis Suarez achieving the feat on four occasions. 

Ronaldo, ​Neymar and Frank Lampard are the other players who have reached the landmark on more than one occasion. ​
