Turkish side Eskişehirspor have sacked Egehan Has after he posted picture of him wearing a Galatasaray shirt.

Has, who is 15 years of age, was playing as a goalkeeper for the club's Under 17 but his contract has now been ripped up.

Has took to social media to share photos of him working out in the gym and caused a serious stir as he was wearing a Nike Galatasaray t-shirt.

There was a whole lot of negative, angry reaction on social media from Eskişehirspor supporters and the club have swiftly acted.

In a statement, the third division outfit wrote: "Egehan Has, one of the youngsters, has been sacked from our club because he posted on his social media accounts at a private gym with a showed another team's t-shirt."

But in an interesting turn of events, Galatasaray supporters have rallied around the young shotstopper and Turkish outlet FotoMac are now saying the Turkish giants are planning to get in touch with him.

Galatasaray are one of the most successful clubs in Turkey and are involved in bitter rivalries with fellow Istanbul clubs. Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

Last year, there was serious shirt controversy in Belgium as Didier Lamkel Ze turned out to Royal Antwerp in the shirt of rivals Anderlecht.

He was trying to force a move to Paninthanokos but security would not grant him access to their training headquarters.

The Cameroonian didn't get his move and apologised for his conduct. He joined Slovakian side Dunajská Streda on loan in September.
