Manchester United Finally Announce Aaron Wan-Bissaka And It's The Most Boring Announcement Ever

Manchester United have confirmed Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their second signing of the summer and, just like Daniel James, they've done it without an extravagant announcement.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has officially joined Manchester United, with the club announcing the signing on Twitter, but unlike some of their previous transfer announcements it's all very low key.

Aside from the picture the news came with a statement from the club saying, "Manchester United is delighted to confirm the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace. Aaron has signed a five-year contract with an option to extend for a further year."

And United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer adding, "Aaron is one of the best upcoming defenders in the Premier League. He has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for Manchester United and he fits exactly the type of player that we are looking to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further.

"Aaron is a young, hungry player and eager to learn and that's important at his age. I am delighted he has signed with us and we look forward to continuing his tremendous development so far."

In recent past the 13 times Premier League champions have greeted some of their high profile signings with more over the top announcements.

Alexis Sanchez was introduced to the Old Trafford faithful playing the piano, which is the best thing he's done since joining the club, Stormzy rapped over Paul Pogba's return to the club, dubbed 'Pogback,' and Fred was dressed as the club's mascot Fred the Red.

None of those players have really lived up to their fancy announcements and perhaps the Red Devils have learnt to wait for performances before building new arrivals up.

Wan-Bissaka joins United after a breakout season for Crystal Palace and was linked with several of the big six towards the end of the season.

The 21-year-old is moving to a club that looked in desperate need of a right back last season as they finished sixth in the Premier League, with Ashley Young playing in the position.

The Londoner is United's second signing of the summer after they completed the move for Daniel James earlier this month.
