There's Another Suitor For Manchester United Target Ivan Perisic

Jose Mourinho has already missed out on Antoine Griezmann thanks to the upholding of Atletico Madrid's transfer ban. He will not want to miss out on another of his top targets this summer but he's got serious competition for Ivan Perisic.

Supposedly United decided against signing Griezmann in order to go after a more traditional 'number nine' in the shape of Alvaro Morata or Andrea Belotti but the Frenchman also decided not to move because his club literally couldn't replace him.

United have already signed one of their top targets in the shape of Victor Lindelof who signed from Benfica on Saturday. Morata is expected to follow sometime soon, possibly the beginning of next week.

One player who United are furiously negotiating over is Inter's Ivan Perisic with the buying club reportedly offering 40 million euros and the Italian club wanting a further 10 million.

However according to Corriere dello Sport the Milan side want to sign Lucas Moura from PSG and the detail that is holding the deal up is the French side's desire to add Perisic as part of the deal.

According to the Italian paper the San Siro side have agreed personal details with Moura already but negotiating with Unai Emery's club is proving difficult because the player they want has been 'promised' to United.

Luciano Spalletti would likely want to keep the Croatian winger but at this point that doesn't look possible at all and it looks very much like Jose Mourinho will the be man to get his hands on the transfer target.

Moura moved to PSG in 2012 for a reported €45 million when Sir Alex Ferguson was interested in bringing the Brazilian to Manchester but said he wouldn't pay that much on a teenager.

This season the 24 year-old started 29 Ligue 1 games for the Parisians and started looking like a first team player for the first time at the Parc de Paris.

He would be perfect for Spalletti's team but there's clearly a long way to go if PSG can't get Perisic.
